Who Should Help Me with My Study Permit?

Education Agents
The Government of Canada does not regulate the role of Education Agent. As a result, any individual can claim the title of Education Agent to take money in exchange for these services. Many Education Agents work with Canadian post-secondary schools to help them recruit high-paying international students. Consequently, many international students end up at post-secondary schools that may not be the best fit for their needs.
However, the Canadian government does regulate who can offer Canadian immigration advice for a fee. Only Canadian immigration lawyers or consultants can offer advice on immigration law, including applying for authorization to migrate to Canada as a student.

Receiving proper guidance when it comes to the process of studying in Canada is incredibly important. After completing a post-secondary credential in Canada, many international students decide to settle permanently in Canada.
