You may be eligible for the Northwest Territories Nomination Program (NWTNP) Express Entry Stream if you are a skilled worker in the federal Express Entry pool with a job offer from a Northwest Territories employer and wish to work and live in the province.
Provide language test results demonstrating language proficiency matching the level declared in your Express Entry profile.
Have a job offer of indeterminate, full-time employment from an eligible Northwest Territories employer in an occupation classified as National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B for which you are qualified.
Demonstrate that you meet minimum income requirements and/or settlement funds to support yourself and your family in Northwest Territories
Minimum income requirements are set by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
If you currently live in the Northwest Territories, you must provide proof of legal status.
Have expressed interest in settling permanently in the Northwest Territories
As a Northwest Territories employer, you must:
Be registered as a business, industry association, or a local, municipal, First Nation or Territorial Government, in the Northwest Territories
Have been registered and operational for at least six months
Be in good standing with the Northwest Territories’ Worker’s Safety and Compensation Commission and the Northwest Territories’ Employment Standards office
Submit a copy of a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), if applicable
