The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIP) is a young immigration program allowing Canadian employers to hire foreign nationals to fill job vacancies. In return, these employers commit to assisting these newcomers through the process of immigration and integration in Canada.

In order for a foreign national to be eligible to apply through the program, first they must have a job offer from a designated employer. AIP applies to Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces: Newfoundland & LabradorNova ScotiaNew Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Until now, none of the provinces have released a public list of their designated employers.

Newfoundland & Labrador has now made their list of designated employers public. Those interested in immigration to the Atlantic Region can now monitor job opportunities with the organizations listed below. A successful job offer could be the key to Canadian immigration!
