New Brunswick hosts regular information sessions and job fairs to find skilled workers interested in living and working in the maritime province. This Fall 2021, New Brunswick will be hosting an online information session for Nursing Professionals.
New Brunswick regularly hosts information sessions and recruitment events to deliver information to interest applicants on living and working in the province. The province holds both informative and employer-driven recruitment events. Since the pandemic, these events have been held mainly online.
Upon registering for an event, candidates will be asked to provide information and documentation on their work history and educational background. Based on what has been provided, the applicant may be invited to attend New Brunswick’s international recruitment event.
This Fall, New Brunswick representatives will be holding a virtual immigration information session for Nursing Professionals and their families to learn more about the province. Registration to attend this online event is open now on the New Brunswick government webpage.
The New Brunswick Provincial Nomination Program (NBPNP) hosts a number of streams designed to bring newcomers to the province that can fill local employment gaps. Candidates that receive a nomination under one of New Brunswick’s programs may be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
The province of New Brunswick is also a participant in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). The program helps employers in Canadian maritime provinces address labour-market shortages by making it easier to hire foreign nationals. Individuals attending the New Brunswick information session may be considered for these two programs.
