Ipsos is not the only organization to publish a nation index. Earlier in the year, Canada was named #1 on an analysis project headed by U.S. News. The report surveyed over 17,000 people from across the world, using 76 country attributes. The attributes were grouped into 10 main sub-rankings:
Survey respondents were asked to identify how closely they associated an attribute with each nation.
