Introducing: Canadim CRS Calculator

Want to begin the Canadian immigration process but don’t know where to start? Canadim now offers an easy-to-use Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) calculator, giving you an idea of the ranking score that would be assigned to your unique immigration profile in the Federal Express Entry pool.

Free Assessment

Currently, the most popular and efficient pathway to Canadian permanent resident status can be found under the Federal Express Entry system. Express Entry is an application management system used for three major Canadian immigration programs for international skilled workers:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
  2. Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
  3. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The first step in being considered for an Express Entry immigration stream is to create a profile in the Express Entry pool. Every two weeks, the Canadian government selects applicants from the pool to receive invitations to apply (ITA’s) for permanent resident status. In 2017, the average processing time for the majority of applicants to the FSW and CEC was only four months.

Why should I know my CRS score?

The Canadian government uses the Comprehensive Ranking System to score applicants in the Express Entry pool based on factors such as work experience, education and language. Those in the pool with the highest CRS score at the time of a draw will receive an ITA, and can move forward with their application.

The Canadim CRS calculator can give you that head start you need to begin your Canadian immigration process. It’s important to note that while the calculator can give you a basic idea of how your Express Entry profile will be ranked, there are always ways to improve your score even while in the pool. Minor adjustments to your profile, like improving your language exam scores by a few points, can have a dramatic impact on the CRS score you are able to claim!
