British Columbia PNP Extends Invitations to Priority Construction Occupations

Published on: November 17th, 2023

The latest draw, conducted on November 16, targeted key construction occupations and resulted in 12 invitations to apply, each requiring a minimum score of 75.

In a move to fortify the construction sector and address the surging demand for residential housing, the province of British Columbia (BC) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting skilled workers through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Programs (BC PNP). Housing remains a top priority for the province, and to ensure a robust construction workforce, certified workers in specific construction occupations are now prioritized in the Skills immigration streams.

The latest draw, conducted on November 16, targeted key construction occupations and resulted in 12 invitations to apply, each requiring a minimum score of 75. This draw is part of ongoing efforts to bolster the skilled labor force, particularly in the construction sector, where there is a pressing need to meet the growing demand for residential properties.
