The Live-in Caregiver Program & Canadian Immigration

Did you know: The Live-in Caregiver Program is a great way for someone with, or without, a nursing degree to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence. After two years of full-time employment in Canada (3900 hours), working as a live-in caregiver, you are eligible to apply for Canadian Immigration, but first you have to obtain the job offer, and then apply for the work visa.

Free Assessment

In some cases you can even apply before your two years of experience in Canada are done but it will depend on your qualifications. The best way to find out is to complete our free online assessment or send us your CV to attorney@canadim.com
