You may be eligible for the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) Express Entry stream if you have an active profile in the federal Express Entry pool.

FREE ASSESSMENT

PEI Express Entry is a stream of the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This stream targets candidates who have an active profile in the federal Express Entry pool. To submit a profile to Express Entry, candidates must be eligible for one of the three federal economic immigration programs below:

Any person with an active profile in the Express Entry pool is eligible to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the PEI Express Entry stream.

As is the case with all of PEI’s PNP streams, interested candidates must go through a two step process in order secure the provincial nomination. First, candidates must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) using PEI’s Expression of Interest System, an online web-portal. All candidates who submit EOIs are assigned a ranking score, based on the PEI Express Entry Ranking System. Those candidates with the highest scores will be invited to apply to the PNP.

If a candidate in PEI Express Entry successfully receives a provincial nomination, they can add the nomination to their Express Entry profile to claim an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. This virtually guarantees a federal Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in the next Express Entry draw.
