Through this category, the SINP can nominate skilled workers who want to live and work in Saskatchewan. You’ll need to meet the SINP criteria and have factors that will help you settle successfully in Saskatchewan, including but not limited to: education, skilled work experience, and English or French Language ability.
You may be eligible if you are a highly skilled worker with experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan, and do not yet have a job offer in the province.
This category is for foreign workers who: are currently working and living in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit; and would like to apply for permanent residency through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.
EXISTING WORK PERMIT
You may be eligible if you have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months under a valid work permit.
You may be eligible if you have worked as a physician, a nurse, or in another health profession in Saskatchewan for at least six months.
HOSPITALITY SECTOR PROJECT
You may be eligible if you are currently working in Saskatchewan as a food and beverage server, food counter attendant, or housekeeping staff.
LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER PROJECT
You may be eligible if you are currently working for an approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan. Drivers must be working in Saskatchewan for their current employer for a minimum of six months before applying.
You may be eligible if you have recently graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. You must also have worked in Saskatchewan for at least 24 months before applying, or for six months if the institution you graduated from is located in Saskatchewan.
Entrepreneur and Farm
You may be eligible if you wish to invest management talent and capital in Saskatchewan by establishing, acquiring, or partnering in a business in the province. You must take on an active management role in the business. Interested applicants must submit an Expression of Interest to the SINP.
FARM OWNERS AND OPERATORS
You may be eligible if you are an experienced farmer with considerable capital looking to invest in a farming operation and settle in the province of Saskatchewan.
