Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
Today, on October 27, 2021, Ontario has held its first targeted tech draw since April 2021. In today’s round of invitations, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued a whopping 1,408 invitations, making it the largest Human Capital Priorities stream draw held this year.
This draw follows Canada’s fourth consecutive PNP-specific Express Entry draw. While Canada pauses FSW draws, provinces continue to use nominee programs to recruit skilled workers from abroad.
Candidates invited in Ontario’s most recent draw had identified their primary National Occupational Classification (NOC) code as one of Ontario’s six targeted tech professions:
Candidates were also required to have at least one year of continuous paid full-time work experience. CRS scores for this draw fell between 455 and 467.
