How do we know we can trust you?

Trust is a very valuable commodity and I commend you for asking this question. Any reputable immigration representative, whether they are a consultant or attorney/lawyer, should be happy to provide you with proof of their credentials. As a Canadian Immigration Lawyer I have proof of my good standing with the Barreau du Quebec on my website. The Barreau du Quebec governs ethical and legal responsibilities for lawyers practicing law in Quebec.

The Canadim Team would also like to direct you to the Canadim Facebook Page, the most popular Canadian Immigration Facebook page! It features over 3500 excellent reviews about our staff and services and we have hundreds of successful client photos which we invite you to see for yourself by clicking here.

Do I need French for the Quebec Skilled Worker Program?

No. French is not a mandatory criteria under the current Quebec Skilled Worker regulations so all you need is either General or Academic IELTS results, obtained in the last 24 months.  That said, learning some basic French will be useful to your integration into Canadian society but it is not a mandatory requirement and no test will be asked of you.

What is the hardest thing about being a Canadian Immigration Lawyer?

In all jobs there are good days and there are bad days. A bad day for me is when I hear heartbreaking stories about people in need of Canada’s assistance but I am not able to help them. We are a private law firm that specializes in obtaining Canadian Permanent Residency for our clients. We are not Immigration Canada and therefore cannot take on any clients who are not eligible to apply.

My advice to anyone who believes their life is in danger is to consult Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s website regarding how to apply as a refugee.

What do you like the most about being a Canadian Immigration Lawyer?

There are a lot of reasons I really enjoy my job but the top of my list is always the smiles on the faces of our successful clients when they get their status in Canada.
