Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) recently published results from its latest Express Entry stream draw held on October 26, 2021.
The newest draw invited 248 individuals from the Express Entry pool to apply for nomination. The CRS score of the lowest-ranking candidate was just 300.
Since the beginning of 2021, AINP has issued 5,883 invitations to apply for nomination under the Express Entry stream. A total of 5,116 nomination certificates through all AINP streams have been issued so far in 2021. The federal government allocated 6,250 nominations to Alberta this year.
Last year, a total of just 1,785 candidates were invited after Alberta paused these draws in the last half of the year as part of their Economic Recovery Plan. The stream resumed nominee draws in January 2021 and has been issuing invitations at a high rate.
