You may be eligible for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) In-Demand Skills Stream if you have a valid job offer from an Ontario employers in an eligible occupation, and have at least 12 months of experience working in that occupation.

CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY

Meeting the criteria listed below does not guarantee a nomination or permanent residence.

 

As a candidate, you must:

  • Have a valid job offer in an eligible occupation from an Ontario employer
  • Have 12 months of cumulative work experience in Ontario in the past 36 months
  • Hold a valid license or certification at the time you submit the application, if your job offer is in an occupation that requires a license or certification in Ontario
  • Provide language test results demonstrating language proficiency of at least CLB 4 in all language abilities
    • Language tests can be no more than two years old.
  • Have at least secondary education credentials
  • Have a minimum level of settlement funds in savings or income in Ontario to support yourself and your family
  • If you are in Canada, have legal status authorizing you to reside in Canada.
