Labour Market Opinions and Canadian Work Permits

Labor Market Opinion

03 Oct, 2013 Labour Market Opinions and Canadian Work Permits

Did you know: The majority of Canadian Work Permits require what is called a Labour Market Opinion (LMO). A LMO is a petition from the Canadian employer (or prepared on their behalf by a legal representative) to Service Canada to bring a foreign worker into Canada to fill a labour shortage. Ultimately it is up to Service Canada to determine if bringing in a foreign worker would have a positive or negative impact on the Canadian Labour Market.

Service Canada evaluates a number of factors but the main factor they consider is whether there is a suitable Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident to fill the position.

But just remember, it all starts with a Canadian job offer and we do not arrange employment for our clients. But once you have secured your Canadian job offer please contact us to work with you and your future employer to get you to Canada as quickly as possible!

Sincerely,

The Canadim Team!

can u tell me how many time need for contract paper ???

    Hello Ghulam,

Thanks for your response. Based on the information that you have supplied. Your application for employment is seriously being considered with keen interest.

We have made an application to the government for labor market opinion (LMO). Upon receipt of the LMO we will then forward you relevant forms for you to fill prior to an employment contract being issued.

Thank you for your expressed interest in working for our company. I shall keep you updated. Take care.

    Cheers!

    Regards

      Dear Nikolai,

Thank you for using our page.

From what you have told me, you wouldn’t be eligible for any Canadian Immigration program that I am aware of. That being said, a Canadian job offer can allow you to come to Canada on a work permit and once you have Canadian experience, it becomes a lot easier to transition to permanent status here in Canada.

Please be advised that we do not secure job offers for our clients. However, as a service to our followers, we do offer a job search toolbar to help you connect with Canadian employers looking to hire:

Once you have secured a Canadian job offer then please contact us to work with both you and your employer to get you to Canada as quickly as possible.

      Sincerely,

      The Canadim Team!

      Dear Fisnik,

Unfortunately without knowing more about your case I cannot give you any advice regarding this. I can tell you that if your LMO is taking too long or is not approved you should strongly consider hiring Canadim as your legal representative as we have much more experience with these types of services.

      Sincerely,

      The Canadim Team!
